To celebrate the 40th. Anniversary of the Machin design a Miniature Sheet, Smilers Sheet and a Prestige stamp book will be issued. The miniature sheet will consist of 2 x 1st. class stamps, one showing the portrait of Arnold Machin and the other the 4d. stamp from 1967, together with the present £1 stamp and a new obsolescent £1 definitive stamp printed in a Ruby colour, replacing the current Mauve colour which has been in use since 1995. These sheets will be printed by De La Rue in Gravure.
Please note that we primarily sell used stamps and that the images used throughout the website may be of Mint stamps. They give you an idea of the designs of the stamps. We always supply stamps in Very Fine Condition (except where stated) and in some cases stamps supplied may even be from First Day Covers. If in doubt about the quality of stamps please email in the first instance. Any stamps or sets which are Mint or any other condition will be clearly marked.
