Set of 4 postcards from the National Postal Museum.
Each card is unused and has the 19p Xmas Stamp from 1995 adhered to the front of each card, each card is postmarked 17 January 1995. Details as follows:-
NPM 95/1 - 'Smokey' - Post Office Headquarters, 26 May 1873
NPM 95/2 - 'Tibs' - Post Office Headquarters, 23 September 1868.
NPM 95/3 - "There is I am afraid, a certain amount of industrial chaos in the Post Office cat world. Allowances vary in different places, possibly according to the alleged efficiency of the animals....." The Assistant Postmaster General 18 March 1953.
NPM 95/4 - "These servants of the State are moreover frequently unreliable, capricious in their duties and liable to prolonged absenteeism...." The Assistant Postmaster General, 18 March 1953.
Each card is crisp and clean with small rubber stamped address in bottom right hand corder on reverse of card
